Job Category: Drilling SolutionsJob Description:NOV Egypt is seeking a qualified and experienced Drilling Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of drilling operations, real-time data monitoring, and analytical interpretation. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in both field and office-based drilling roles and possess excellent customer relationship skills and a collaborative team mindset.Key Responsibilities:

Monitor real-time drilling data and well parameters to ensure optimal performance
Recommend drilling parameters to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risks
Analyze post-drilling data to identify performance improvements and optimization opportunities
Interpret data from downhole and surface sensors to provide actionable insights for drilling optimization
Conduct post-run analysis and incident reports, identifying key lessons learned and implementing best practices
Identify and mitigate drilling dysfunctions during operations
Prepare and maintain detailed well data sheets and daily progress reports
Communicate effectively with clients and rig site personnel to ensure alignment on objectives and performance
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support drilling operations and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering - Essential
2-5 years of relevant experience in drilling operations (field and/or office)
Strong understanding of real-time drilling data systems and monitoring tools
Solid background in drilling hydraulics, well control, and bottom hole assembly (BHA) and casing design
Familiar with common drilling dysfunctions and mitigation strategies
Proficient in information technology, including computer networks and communications systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment
