- Industry : heavy moving trucks- construction- dredging type. rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and alignment.
- Proficient in CMMS
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
- Develop and execute scheduled maintenance plans for mechanical systems and moving equipment to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repair:
- Diagnose mechanical failures, perform root cause analysis, and execute timely repairs on gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating machinery.
- Inspection & Monitoring:
- Conduct regular inspections of heavy equipment, alignments, lubrication, and vibration analysis to detect early signs of wear or failure.
- Project Engineering:
- Support capital improvement and equipment upgrade projects, including the installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA/ISO safety standards and site-specific health and safety regulations.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment history, and reports on downtime, maintenance KPIs, and corrective actions.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations, electrical, and instrumentation teams to coordinate and improve reliability of industrial systems.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) initiatives and lean manufacturing processes.
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2-3 years experience in mechanical maintenance within a heavy industry (Heavy trucks, dredging- drilling tools, moving equipment's etc.).
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and alignment.
- Proficient in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Familiarity with safety systems and regulatory standards in industrial maintenance.
