These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Work on SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and HR to deliver technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Implement enhancements using User Exits, BADI, BAPI, and Enhancement Framework.
  • Develop SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
  • Support data migration activities using LSMW and BDC techniques.
  • Optimize performance of existing ABAP programs and troubleshoot issues.
  • Participate in SAP upgrades and patching activities.
  • Document technical designs and maintain development standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7-12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture and data structures.
  • Experience with SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC.
  • Proficiency in debugging and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori and OData services is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
