- Lead Financial Operations: Oversee all financial processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with Egyptian GAAP for Insurance & Reinsurance companies, IFRS 17, and IFRS 9 standards.
- Safeguard Assets: Ensure the company's assets are well-protected, accurately accounted for, and properly reported.
- Drive Reporting Excellence: Manage monthly operational divisional results reporting to corporate headquarters and prepare financial reports for Audit Committee and Board of Directors meetings.
- Enhance IT Systems: Collaborate with the IT Manager to design and implement systems that support business operations while maintaining robust internal controls.
- Strategic Planning: Play a key role in preparing business strategies, budgets, and follow-ups to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee all tax-related matters with the support of a tax consultant, ensuring accurate booking and reporting.
- Optimize Financial Systems: Lead improvements in automated financial and management information systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure Legal Compliance: Work closely with the Legal Consultant and other departments to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop Policies: Establish and implement financial policies and procedures to drive consistency and excellence.
- Foster Collaboration: Partner with other managers to provide financial insights and recommendations that support planning initiatives.
- Analyze Performance: Conduct in-depth analyses of cash flow, cost controls, expenses, and financial statements to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Banking & Investments: Manage relationships with banks, secure facilities, and oversee investments in coordination with the Head of Treasury.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
- Education: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting section) is required.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar position, preferably in non-life insurance companies or multinational organizations.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 is highly desirable, along with strong financial reporting experience.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with financial systems.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, set objectives, and drive performance.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and deliver actionable insights.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and intercultural competencies to collaborate effectively across teams.
