Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to: LVS Project Management Team leadIn this role, you will be responsible to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity and ensures that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets. Includes Project Man-agers assigned to small projects in the service business.The work model for this role is onsite. This role is contributing to Electrification Business Area based in 10th of Ramadan Cairo Egypt.You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Leading the project team allocated to the project
  • Motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and mile-stones
  • Providing performance feedback for the resources allocated to projects
  • Ensuring compliance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures, relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements
  • Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress effectively and efficient resource utilization
  • Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow
  • Identifying, qualifying quantifying, manages project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued
  • Capturing, analyzing, and sharing lessons learned throughout the project
  • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract
  • Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements
  • Coordinating with Supply Chain Management and successfully procuring required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers
  • Supporting Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims, and project changes
  • Acting as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders
  • Defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively to avoid possible future schedule deviations with On Time Delivery (OTD) impact
  • Identifying and planning all document deliverables required by the contractual scope of work and incorporating this plan into the overall project plan/schedule
Qualifications for the role:
  • You possess Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • You have 2 years of experience in project management
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You are at ease communication in English, Arabic is a plus
