- Hit the ground running - Gather an up-to-date and in-depth understanding of dubizzle Egypt's technologies & IT Operations within weeks.
- Manage IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, systems, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware to ensure the highest business continuity, stability, and Security.
- Manage IT Operations projects in Systems, Services, network, Security, and support disciplines.
- Ensure strategic IT service operations objectives are aligned with the dubizzle Group priorities and strategies.
- Manage the hiring of IT service operations professionals needed for IT to ensure they have the best capable IT operational skills that align with the company's scope.
- Manage the mitigation of any new security risks to take proper action and ensure that the network is protected against new threats and vulnerabilities.
- Prepare and provide audits with the necessary information regarding the IT service operations’ infrastructure to match the IT standard security levels.
- Manage all dubizzle Egypt information technology assets, including software, hardware, peripherals, and telephony equipment, to supervise, track, and protect dubizzle Egypt service assets in the event of new hires or changes in employee status.
- Manage dubizzle Egypt's IT service procurement of new IT assets, solutions, and services to align Business units' IT systems with dubizzle Egypt's business objectives.
- Ensure smooth upgrades and migrations across all assets' technology status.
- Manage the development of Egypt IT service operations’ OPEX and CAPEX budgets, review and approve the operation’s department expenditures to ensure compliance with the Dubizzle Group IT service operations annual budget.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
- Purchase, Track, and maintain hardware and software inventory.
- Continuously analyse current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analysing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for the company's needs.
- Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support as needed.
- Develop and execute disaster procedures and maintain data backups.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- 8+ years of experience in IT management.
- Productivity & Collaboration Environments: Deep understanding and hands-on experience administering and managing large-scale Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Admin Console, etc.) and/or Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Azure AD) environments, including user provisioning, security policies, data governance, and compliance.
- Corporate Application Hosting: Proven ability in deploying, managing, and optimising corporate applications, including web servers, databases, and business-critical software, in both on-premises data centres and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). This includes an understanding of relevant networking, storage, and compute considerations.
- Enterprise Backup & Recovery: Basic experience in designing, implementing, and managing robust enterprise-level backup and disaster recovery solutions, including various backup methodologies and recovery strategies.
- System Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Proficient in monitoring the system
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring.
- Operating Systems & Directory Services: Expertise in various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and strong understanding of DNS, DHCP
- Network & Infrastructure: Comprehensive knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), network architecture, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
- Current Equipment & Technologies: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT hardware, software, and emerging technologies relevant to enterprise environments.
- Very high problem-solving technicalities.
