Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a SAP Factory Manager for one of our partners, a global leader in the food and services industry.Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced manager for our SAP Factory to lead, develop, and expand our SAP Factory which delivers SAP consulting and configuration services to the company. the company runs S/4 HANA since 2021 and it keeps investing in S/4 HANA as its digital core to fuel its excellence in business process execution and data management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the S/4 HANA, FMCG business processes, and their integration to external platforms (e.g. D365 CE, Power BI & Azure Reporting), a proven ability to drive business growth, and exceptional leadership qualities to manage and mentor a team of SAP professionals. This role is pivotal to deliver excellent business processes and high-quality master data in S/4 HANA for the business needs of all entities of the company. The strategic intend is to be fuelling our growth, ensuring delivery excellence and fostering business relationships jointly with our platform and product teams.Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership & Strategy:
Define and execute the strategic vision, goals, and roadmap for the SAP Factory, aligned with overall company objectives.
Manage the P&L for the SAP Factory, including effective capacity utilization of the team, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Continuously evaluate and enhance the S/4 HANA knowledge based on latest releases and feature packs, incorporating and integrating new technologies that have integrated business process (e.g., D365, Anaplan, BlueYonder, ...) and industry best practices from the FMCG and beverage industry.
Drive innovation within the practice by identifying emerging industry trends and developing new solutions and features that drive growth, efficiency and improve employee experience.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure factory performance and identify areas for improvement.
Business Development & Sales Enablement:
Lead and actively participate in business planning session with product & platform teams, including solution architecting, solution option development, business presentations, resource allocation to products and platforms, and time and effort estimates for the backlogs.
Collaborate with product and platform teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and relevant, new SAP solutions in collaboration with Enterprise Architects.
Develop and nurture strong relationships with SAP and other key technology partners to drive joint go-to-market initiatives.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote our SAP capabilities.
Contribute to people development & user digital dexterity by creating content (e.g., knowledge articles, ADO wiki-entries, host relevant and effective community meetings per business function).
Team Leadership & Development:
Build, lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of SAP configuration leaders (functional consultants) and SAP solution architects.
Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization and staffing of product teams.
Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the team.
Conduct performance reviews, set development goals, and support the career progression of team members.
Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to enhance the team's capabilities.
Delivery & Operational Excellence:
Ensure the successful delivery of epics, features and user stories, meeting business expectations and results regarding scope, quality, timeline, budget, user adoption and value generation.
Implement and enforce robust adoption Scaled Agile Framework including quality assurance and automation processes (e.g. test automation, CI/CD).
Act as a senior escalation point for delivery issues and problems occurring in user story, feature and epcic delivery, and provide expert guidance to the SAP Factory team and to the internal customers (business, product and platform teams).
Act as a senior escalation point for delivery issues and problems occurring in the operations and support of S/4 HANA Platform and the integrated business process (L3 support, guidance to L2 and L1 support). Provide input on how to reduce, avoid incidents and problems or to automate incident resolution, on how to improve performance & availability, how to shift left and improve mean-time-to resolve.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key products and platform teams, acting as a trusted advisor.
Oversee business satisfaction (NPS, ticket satisfaction, PI retro’s), gather feedback, and implement measures for continuous service improvement.
Develop and maintain SAP Factory-related best-practices, automations, and acceleration tooling.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Manage vendor relationships relevant to the SAP practice.
Provide regular reports to senior management on practice performance, pipeline, and key initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the SAP domain, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role of a SAP practice, a SAP CC or a SAP Factory of an international FMCG.
Proven track record of successfully building and managing an SAP practice, a SAP CC or a SAP Factory including cost management, people management and business outcomes.
Strong experience in SAP solution architecture, and experience
In-depth knowledge of various SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, WM, EWM, Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP BTP and clean core) and other technologies.
Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering complex, large-scale SAP implementation, migration, and support projects (including M&A and / or carve-out’s)
Excellent understanding and experience in working in Agile Frameworks (e.g. Scaled Agile Framework) and delivery tooling (Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager).
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
Strong track record in managing relevant KPI (e.g., NPS and stakeholder satisfaction, high test coverage – functional, code, requirements, high defect detection rate before release to production, team velocity & engagement)
