As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of Italian dishes are prepared and presented to our guests.
Manage and operate a designated section of the kitchen, such as pasta, antipasti, or main courses
Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes with precision and creativity
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and refine menu items
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all dishes
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in your section
Assist in inventory management and food cost control
Contribute to menu planning and seasonal dish development
Uphold the restaurant's standards and reputation for exceptional Italian cuisine
Qualifications
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in high-volume Italian restaurants
Proven expertise in Italian regional cuisines, ingredients, and cooking methods
Strong culinary techniques and proficiency in preparing a wide range of Italian dishes
Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification
Proficient in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Creative approach to menu planning and dish presentation
Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian language is a plus
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
