General Ledger Analyst

• Maintain and reconcile trial balance accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including accruals and adjustments.
• Handle cash operations tasks for the Swiss entity including cash journals.
• Support receivables accounting key activities.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Support balance sheet reconciliation for assigned accounts & resolve all the reviewing action points.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the closing process to ensure compliance with reporting deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Support various types of tax audits, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to general ledger activities.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of accounting & financial analysis experience.
• Practical Experience and understanding of US GAAP is preferred.
• Experience in the agribusiness or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
• Strong accounting experience with good technical knowledge.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Work experience in a multinational environment or international business experience.
