The Tender Engineer is responsible for preparing, coordinating, and submitting competitive technical and commercial proposals for projects in line with client requirements and company strategy. The role involves detailed analysis of tender documents, cost estimation, risk assessment, and coordination with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely and compliant submissions.Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client requirements and deadlines.
Conduct site visits and collect relevant project data for accurate tender preparation.
Liaise with engineering, procurement, planning, and finance teams to gather necessary inputs.
Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare detailed cost estimations, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
Identify potential risks and propose mitigation measures in tender submissions.
Ensure tenders are submitted in the correct format, with all required documentation.
Maintain an updated database of suppliers, subcontractors, and cost references.
Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations with clients.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
