- Responsibility for the fluent operation of all warehouse & distribution processes.
- Definition and control of the material flows and measures to secure quality assurance.
- Creating, implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures (L5) with the logistics providers.
- Defining and create warehouse strategies (storage, replenishment, picking)
- Performing stocktaking and cycle counts with warehouse provider.
- Reporting and analysis of key performance indicators and optimization.
- Be the logistics interface between Bosch divisions, their customer and logistics providers
- Managing Logistics Service Provider for warehousing and distribution
- Logistics cost responsibility (incl. business planning) and invoice verification for logistics services
- Responsible for KPI tracking and reporting.
- Responsible Logistic Quality and Health & Safety (8D process, support FMEA, QCs, CIP)
- Support project with central departments for warehouse & distribution like new processes, network optimisation or tender.
- Supporting other LWM in Africa
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Min 4-6 years practical experience
- Profound knowledge warehousing and distribution logistics and supply chain management
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
- People Management.
- Availability to travel and work extensively in the spare parts market
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Familiar with working in a Multinational / Corporate environment.
- Solid communication skills in English (Speak / Read / Write)
- Proficiency in MS Office packages, Outlook and SAP.
