- Serve as the single point of contact for the customer across all business aspects: sales, finance, planning, and execution.
- Promote a customer-centric culture and "outside-in" thinking throughout the project team.
- Leverage Voice of Customer feedback to guide strategic and operational decision-making.
- Ensure the compliance to contractual agreement.
- Own the full project P&L from cost planning to revenue recognition and collection, ensuring profitability and commercial discipline.
- Deliver on all project KPIs, including operational performance, financial outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously drive improvement in competitiveness, efficiency, and financial outcomes.
- Implement Lean practices, cost control measures, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Proactively identify recurring contractual or operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize project margins, improve post-cost performance, and drive strategic adjustments to project delivery models.
- Partner with the Delivery Operations Manager and other functional leads to align on targets and execution plans.
- Lead project-related budget planning and performance monitoring, ensuring alignment with global strategies and standards.
- Promote best practice sharing with Area and Global Major Projects teams.
- Ensure adherence to the KONE Way business operating model and close identified gaps.
- Provide structured feedback to help enhance global frameworks and delivery models.
- Contribute to strategic planning across the New Equipment business.
- Lead, coach, and develop the dedicated Major Project team to achieve high performance and collaboration.
- Identify and address competency and capacity gaps through development plans and training initiatives.
- Champion a zero-harm safety culture and drive high-quality delivery standards.
- Ensure full compliance with KONE policies, including the tender process, safety, and corporate governance.
- Minimum 12 years of experience, with a strong background in infrastructure or MEP project management.
- Deep understanding of customer needs, infrastructure market dynamics, and value creation in large-scale projects.
- Proven leadership in complex project environments, with experience managing cross-functional and matrixed teams.
- Strong expertise in the full Major Project lifecycle, from pre-sales through execution to handover and after-sales support.
- Financial acumen and a solid grasp of commercial, contractual, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in project management competencies, aligned with the KONE PM Competence Framework.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship management skills.
