Their digital operations span 10+ e-commerce platforms and a mobile app, backed by innovative technology, robust logistics, and a customer-centric approach. With a strong legacy and continued growth, the company remains a major player in the regional fashion and beauty landscape.Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Ownership:
Own and drive the full e-commerce cycle across Commercial Planning, Technology, Operations, Marketplaces, and Customer Service to ensure a seamless and profitable customer journey. * Team Leadership:Lead a team of 30 professionals, including 4 direct reports (Commercial, Technology, Operations, and Customer Service Managers). Inspire, empower, and develop team capabilities to deliver exceptional results. * Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Define and execute a compelling annual e-commerce business plan.
  • Align e-commerce strategies with overall brand objectives and business targets.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy:
Foster collaboration between e-commerce and other departments (marketing, finance, logistics, etc.) to maximize performance and resource efficiency. * Commercial Oversight:Review brand-level e-commerce calendars with the Commercial Manager to ensure campaigns and plans are aligned with brand purpose and commercial goals. * Technology Enablement:Collaborate with the Technology Manager to ensure tech roadmaps and solutions are delivered on time and drive business growth. * Marketplace Management:Oversee marketplace sales (Amazon, Jumia, etc.), listings, and inbounds with the Marketplaces Manager while identifying new market opportunities. * Operational Excellence:Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, rejection rates, and other service metrics with the Operations Manager to ensure high operational standards. * Customer Experience:Partner with the CS Leader to track and enhance customer support performance through metrics such as complaint rates and ticket lead-times. * Financial Oversight:Conduct monthly P&L reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability. * Reporting & Analytics:Present detailed monthly and quarterly business performance reports to the Managing Director, including budget comparisons and mitigation plans where needed. * Business Development:Drive continuous business development through innovation, digital transformation, and team empowerment.Requirements
  • Education:
BSc degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field. * Experience:
  • 10+ years of overall business experience.
  • 2-3 years of direct e-commerce experience.
  • Experience in Fashion and/or Beauty is preferred.
  • Exposure to online marketplaces (Amazon, Jumia, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial background is a strong plus.
  • Language Skills:
  • Excellent command of both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
