1. Project Technical Leadership
Lead the end-to-end technical management of ITS systems including ATMS, traffic signals, ANPR, VMS, CCTV, environmental sensors, and smart parking.Translate business and operational requirements into technical solutions and implementation strategies.Oversee system architecture design, interface definitions, and data integration with the smart city platform.Review and validate design packages, shop drawings, and system configurations submitted by vendors/integrators.2. ITS Systems Integration
Coordinate the integration of ITS subsystems with ACUD’s central command centers (e.g., OCC, Traffic Control, Smart City Platforms).Ensure seamless interoperability with ICT infrastructure (fiber backbone, data centers, wireless comms).Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance procedures across multiple zones of the capital.3. Technical Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the technical liaison between ACUD, consultants, main contractors, and technology vendors.Lead technical workshops, design reviews, and solution validations with stakeholders.Ensure alignment with MoT, MoI, and other national regulatory bodies.4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure ITS systems adhere to global and local standards (e.g., NTCIP, ISO, ITU-T, QOS standards, NTRA requirements).Monitor technical quality assurance processes and ensure system reliability and performance.Contribute to the preparation and evaluation of RFIs, RFPs, BoQs, and technical contracts.5. Operational Readiness & Handover
Develop operational models and support O&M planning for all deployed ITS systems.Oversee the documentation, training, and transition of systems to ACUD's operational teams.Define and track KPIs and SLAs post-handover.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Transportation Engineering. Master’s degree is a plus.8+ years of ITS or Smart Mobility experience, ideally in large-scale urban or smart city projects.Proven track record managing ITS deployment projects in Egypt or MENA region.Knowledge of Egyptian public sector procurement, NTRA regulations, and smart city frameworks.Experience with local and international vendors/integrators in ITS (Huawei, Kapsch, Siemens, etc.)Key Skills:
Strong leadership and multi-vendor coordination skills.In-depth knowledge of ITS technologies and integration protocols.Excellent stakeholder communication, presentation, and reporting skills.Fluency in Arabic and English is required.Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Primavera, MS Project, etc.)Technical SkillsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Transportation Engineering.
