We are seeking a Technical Project Sales Manager (Chemicals) to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This position is vital for driving sales growth through the promotion of our chemical products for construction applications, specializing in meeting the technical needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will bridge the technical aspects of our product line with sales strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for chemical products in the construction sector.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and consultancy to clients, assisting them in selecting the right products for their projects.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and R&D teams to communicate customer needs and help shape product development.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of product solutions to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging trends in the construction industry.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to track project progress and sales performance.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or project management within the chemical or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical applications in construction, including adhesives, coatings, and sealants.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
