- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, dishwashers, and refrigerators
- Manage laundry operations, including washing machines, dryers, and folding equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on kitchen and laundry equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
- Implement and maintain cleaning and sanitation procedures in both kitchen and laundry areas
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment parts
- Coordinate with external technicians for major repairs when necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in both kitchen and laundry facilities
- Assist in training staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or institutional setting
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining various kitchen and laundry equipment
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Relevant technical certifications in equipment maintenance (preferred)
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
