Job Purpose:Handle design works and review all Mechanical and MEP engineering works done by design Engineers according to the project design philosophy under the supervision of Mechanical Design Section Head.Key Accountabilities:

Prepare and review mechanical Design & Shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Conduct detailed MEP coordination with electrical and civil disciplines to resolve clashes.
Analyze project specifications, design drawings, and tender documents to ensure accurate BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs.
Prepare material submittals, technical queries (RFIs), and method statements for consultant/client approvals.
Provide technical support to procurement and site execution teams by reviewing supplier submittals, selecting materials, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Develop and implement value engineering solutions to optimize design and reduce project costs without compromising quality or safety.

QualificationsJob Requirements:Years of experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the MEP industry, with at least 4 years in a technical office roleAcademic Qualifications: Bachelor’s in mechanical Power Engineering.Language proficiency: English & ArabicComputer skills: MS office, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Elite, Duct Sizer
