Position OverviewThe Technical Pre-Sales will play a critical role in supporting Blackstone eIT’s business development and proposal management activities. This role involves analyzing client requirements (RFPs/RFQs/EOIs), drafting high-quality technical and commercial proposals, and contributing to solution design. The candidate must possess strong technical acumen across various technology stacks and demonstrate the ability to translate client requirements into clear, competitive, and compliant solutions.Key Responsibilities1. Analysis of RFPs and Proposal Creation· Examine and assess RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents to understand the scope, required specifications, and compliance criteria.· Create outlines for proposals, compliance matrices, and strategies for responses.· Compose comprehensive technical and financial sections of proposals, ensuring they meet client expectations and align with Blackstone eIT’s solution offerings.· Collaborate with internal departments (technical, product, finance, legal) to collect necessary information and finalize deliverables.2. Solution Design and Architectural Knowledge· Contribute to the development of solution architectures, which include system components, integrations, and deployment strategies.· Stay informed about various technology stacks (e.g., .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, Azure, VMware, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, AI/ML, Microservices).· Offer technical insights on suitable technologies, deployment approaches (on-premises, cloud, hybrid), and security standards (such as NESA, DESC, ISO).3. Support for Client Engagement· Assist in pre-sales activities, including presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to effectively showcase solutions.· Address any technical questions clients may have during the evaluation process.· Create reusable proposal materials (templates, case studies, reference architectures).4. Support for Commercial Activities· Collaborate with the commercial team to develop pricing models, BOQs, and rate cards.· Ensure that commercial proposals are consistent with client budgets and internal profit margins.· Identify and articulate risks, assumptions, and dependencies in proposals.5. Ongoing Improvement· Monitor industry trends, RFP patterns, and competitive standards to enhance proposal strategies.· Maintain a repository of reusable technical and commercial elements.· Provide insights and feedback to product/solution teams based on RFP analyses and client interactions. requirements.RequirementsQualifications & SkillsEducation:A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Experience: 2 to 5 years in pre-sales, business analysis, or solution architecture roles; experience with government and enterprise RFPs is preferred.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise IT stacks, including Microsoft, open-source technologies, cloud computing, AI/ML, and ERP/CRM systems.Competence in reading and creating architecture diagrams.Proposal Skills: Proficient in technical writing, commercial structuring, and compliance analysis.Communication: Strong presentation skills and effective client-facing communication abilities.Tools: Skilled in MS Office, Visio/Draw.io, and proposal automation software.Personal Attributes:Possess a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Meticulous attention to detail with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.A collaborative team player with the ability to coordinate across various functions.Proactive in embracing new technologies and responding to changing client requirements.Benefits🌍 Remote Work Flexibility💵 Competitive Salary Paid in USD
