To ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of all IT systems, infrastructure, and networks in the Hotel, while providing technical support to staff and ensuring excellent performance of guest-facing technologies.1. Systems Management
  • Oversee the daily performance of IT systems, servers, property management system (PMS), POS, telephone systems, CCTV, and guest internet access.
  • Ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of all hotel-related software and hardware.
  • Maintain system backups, antivirus, and firewalls.
2. Network and Infrastructure
  • Monitor and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and ensure optimal connectivity for both internal operations and guests.
  • Liaise with service providers for internet and telecom issues.
3. User Support & Training
  • Provide technical support and training to hotel staff for systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (PCs, printers, POS terminals, etc.).
  • Maintain an IT helpdesk log and monitor ticket resolution times.
4. Security & Compliance
  • Enforce IT policies and procedures in line with hotel and group standards.
  • Ensure data security, compliance with cybersecurity policies, and guest data protection regulations.
  • Perform regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
5. Projects & Upgrades
  • Lead or support the implementation of IT projects (new systems, upgrades, etc.).
  • Recommend improvements to systems and technologies used by the hotel.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software installation and maintenance.
6. Coordination & Reporting
  • Report major issues and performance metrics to the General Manager and Group IT.
  • Coordinate with corporate IT or external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
