Job Description:Eram Talent is seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Officer will be responsible for promoting health, safety, and environmental standards across all operational activities to ensure compliance with both internal and external regulations.If chosen for this role, the HSE Officer will play a vital part in shaping a culture of safety and sustainability in our facilities and projects.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with local regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures.
  • Facilitate HSE training programs and awareness campaigns to enhance the safety competence of all employees.
  • Manage and investigate incidents and accidents, analyzing the causes and assisting in the development of preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote a robust safety culture and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and develop emergency preparedness plans.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the HSE function.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the oil and gas or construction sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience in performing safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective HSE training programs.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Familiarity with emergency response procedures and incident investigation protocols.
