In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance with IFRS standards, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Lead day to day accounting operations, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and adherence to IFRS standards.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and HR to align on cost allocations and reporting accuracy.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, tools, and internal controls.
Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing financial procedures and workflows.
Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

Requirements:What Are We Looking For ❓

2-4 years of experience as a General Accountant, preferably within e-commerce or technology-driven environments.
Solid knowledge and application of IFRS standards and financial reporting principles.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred), with hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting transactions.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
