- Operates the extraction process on a daily shift basis, ensuring safety, food safety, product quality, and environmental standards are met; follows procedures and assists in the execution of shutdowns.
- Utilizes the management of change process and complies with the annual department plan, operating standards, and goals.
- Conducts plant tours within the Extraction Plant and performs critical path checks, adhering to plant policies and procedures related to safety and housekeeping.
- Operates the plant efficiently and effectively, informing the Shift Supervisor of operating supply needs, assisting the engineering department with fault reporting, and actively participating in the predictive/reliability approach.
- Leverages technical skills and operational experience to identify and resolve workplace issues, improving work processes and operational efficiencies while staying updated with changes.
- Operates the extraction process in accordance with specifications and standards.
- Ensures operations are carried out within required standards and goals, maintaining a work environment aligned with the quality management system.
- Ensures run sheets are filled out accurately, logging faults, environmental or safety issues, following procedures, and signing off as required.
- Complies with corporate process safety and health and safety policies; reports any unsafe practices, equipment, or environmental concerns, and attends safety and process safety meetings and training when applicable.
- Operates efficiently, mindful of energy usage and waste.
- Bachelor’s degree in production, mechanical, chemical, and electro-mechanical Engineering.
- 2-4 years in industrial fields.
- Advanced skills of PC and Office applications.
- Native proficiency in Arabic and fluent in English.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
