Long DescriptionWe are actively looking for an exceptionally skilled Datacenter Transformation Architect to become a valuable member of our team, assuming a pivotal role in driving our presales initiatives. In this crucial position, the ideal candidate will engage directly with clients, taking charge of leading assessments, devising strategic plans, and crafting comprehensive roadmaps for data center migrations and transformations. This scope extends to encompass various elements, such as branch offices, edge locations, and innovative hybrid cloud solutions.This role places a premium on expertise in multiple domains, including profound knowledge of data center architecture, adeptness with cutting-edge hybrid cloud technologies, and a proven track record in successfully executing complex migrations. Moreover, we are seeking an individual who not only excels in technical prowess but also demonstrates a steadfast commitment to sustainability practices.Roles and Responsibilities:Assessment and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' datacenter infrastructure, including branch offices and edge locations.
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in both centralized and distributed environments.
Strategy and Roadmap Development:
  • Create comprehensive datacenter transformation strategies and roadmaps, aligning with clients' business objectives.
  • Design solutions incorporating the latest technologies, industry best practices, and scalability for diverse environments.
Reference Architecture and Best Practices:
  • Utilize industry best practices and reference architectures to design efficient and scalable solutions for centralized and distributed architectures.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in datacenter transformation and edge computing.
Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Implementation:
  • Advise on the design and implementation of private cloud environments, considering security, compliance, and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful deployment of hybrid cloud solutions.
Sustainability Integration:
  • Integrate sustainability considerations into datacenter transformation plans for both centralized and distributed environments.
  • Advocate for green technologies and energy-efficient practices in datacenters and edge locations.
Client Advisory:
  • Provide expert advice to clients on datacenter transformation, private cloud implementation, and technology choices.
  • Collaborate with clients to address concerns and provide innovative solutions for hybrid cloud strategies.
Business Case Preparation:
  • Develop detailed business cases for datacenter transformation projects, covering both centralized and edge environments.
  • Collaborate with financial analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial models.
Presales Activities:
  • Engage in presales activities, including presentations, technology roadmaps, workshops, and technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and contribute to compelling proposals for hybrid cloud solutions.
Long DescriptionQualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of proven experience as a Datacenter Transformation Architect or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of datacenter technologies, cloud solutions, and emerging trends with operational and service delivery experience:
- Hybrid Cloud: Azure VMware solution, AWS and Azure Public cloud- Data Center Consolidation and Private Cloud: Assessment, Foundation, Build & Migrate.- HCI Platform: Nutanix, VxRail and vSAN- Migration Solutions: OEM Natives, Zerto, Platespin and Carbonite- Compute, Container Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, OpenShift- Backup Solutions: Rubrik, NetApp, Commvault and VEEM- Hybrid Storage Arrays: PureStorage, Dell-EMC and NetApp
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in datacenter operations, datacenter managed services is a plus.
