Job DescriptionThis role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in the following technologies: Design of mechanical systems, devices, equipment and machines; installing and maintaining mechanically functioning equipment; simulating a wide range of interactions and evaluate performance in real world scenarios; and develop prototype for manufacturability, testing and validation.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign of the new parts (if required)
Technical leader of supplier relationshipLeading of weekly meetings with supplier (including affected parties, e.g. SGV, RHN, design ops, validation....)Active participation in regular SGV/supplier/CoC performance meetingsLeading OVC reviews together with CAD-designer (meet corporate standards / requirements / deviation approval)Manage APQP (grid creation / all deliverables of APQP process)Provide input for program gate meetings to involved persons (e.g. CP / RPC / RTSS / RTV...)Consultation and selection of suppliersEnsure QCDP status of scope is achieved / prepare QCDP status for cp and for project reviewsManage PEPP and multiPEPP process for serial lifeInsure convergence of style related items with styling and project teamManage deviation/derogation for non-safety relevant items (e.g. dimensional, appearance....)Manage style related items with styling / STOM department and project teamLead "technical" issues and change managementJob Description - Grade SpecificFocus on Mechanical Physical Engineering.
