Job Description:Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Network Pre-Sales Architect for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.Responsibilities:
Engage with customers to understand their business goals, challenges, and technical requirements.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and analyze customer needs, proposing bespoke network architecture solutions.
Design and develop comprehensive Voice and Data network solutions, including detailed network design documents, diagrams, pricing models, and technical proposals.
Conduct presentations and technical demonstrations to effectively communicate proposed solutions to clients.
Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any concerns.
Work closely with internal teams, such as engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure the seamless implementation of solutions.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network architecture to continuously enhance solution offerings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
At least 7 years of professional experience in Pre-Sales solutioning and architecting network technologies inclusive of Data and Voice.
Demonstrated experience in network architecture and pre-sales, ideally within a technology or IT solutions environment for DC and Enterprise networks.
Comprehensive understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies such as TCP/IP, MPLS, VPN, routing, switching, ZERO Trust, SD-WAN and SASE.
Extensive expertise in F5 BIG-IP Load Balancing solutions, including LTM, GTM, and ASM.
Advanced proficiency in Cisco's Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV) protocol.
Strong command of Layer 2 technologies, including Spanning-Tree, VLANs, VTP, UDLD, VDC, and CDP.
Expert-level knowledge of Layer 3 technologies, including IPv4, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IPv6, HSRP, and VRRP.
Thorough understanding of Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN), and Network Function Virtualization (NFV).
Experience in network architecture for public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Understanding and design experience of Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager (UCCE, UCCX), Cisco Unity/Unity Connection, Video and Voice Gateways
In-depth knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
Proficiency in designing network solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNP Collaboration, CCIE, and JNCIP are highly valued.
Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
