Apply now!Learn more:Energy and Automation EngineerAs the Energy and Automation Engineer in the area of Factory Operations, you will be responsible for the daily management of energy, automation, and electrical systems. This includes following up on the team under your responsibility, executing daily checklists, identifying gaps and issues, solving them in a timely manner, and managing all maintenance contracts. You will also prepare reports and analytical data as required and monitor all relevant KPIs, raising any concerns promptly.PositionFull management of all energy and natural sources (Electricity, Natural Gas, Water) and build annual plans; establish CAPEX and OpenX budgets for energy and electrical plans, managing frameworks with external parties.Manage consultants' work related to energy, automation, and electrical; conduct regular maintenance plans; undertake energy audits.Lead and manage the Energy Management System and related certifications/audits; ensure proper installation and operation of equipment and components such as distribution panels, PLC control panels, HMI, programming logic, control loops, floor-level networks, and related infrastructure.Direct oversight of all automation process engineering; ensure compliance with the latest JTI automation standards; provide the production team with the right utilities requirements for steady production.Provide and implement sustainability solutions to meet annual savings targets; lead multiple projects within timelines, budgets, quality, and safety standards; deliver target annual savings; support continual improvement for EHS, Energy, and Quality management system
Lead the energy team to continually achieve, maintain, and improve the energy management system to comply with ISO 50001 standards.
RequirementsBSc in Electrical Engineering or related field; excellent knowledge of energy, automation, and project management; PMP is a plus.3-4 years of relevant experience in energy, automation, and electrical management.Excellent command of English and Arabic (spoken and written).Strong analytical skills, ability to solve problems, and experience in data analysis and reporting (MS Excel, Power BI preferred) * Knowledge of ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems will be considered an advantageExperience with AutoCAD, project management experience and PMP certification is advantageous.Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead a team, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Are you ready to join us?
