- Oversee and manage the entire payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws and regulations.
- Implement and manage electronic payroll systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensuring all income and liabilities are accurately recorded, reconciled and reviewed.
- Perform month-end closing activities such as account reconciliation, expenses recording, etc.
- Ensure the accuracy of the trial balance to reflect the real picture of the company's financial position.
- Coordination of the day-to-day accounting operations of the Department.
- Issuing Invoices and following up on collections
- Excellent experience on Taxes and insurances
- Paying the Social Insurance debt to the CPS system
- Review insurance statements and insurance account statements
- Manage and streamline the electronic invoicing process for the firm.
- Ensure invoices are accurate, compliant with legal requirements, and sent out in a timely manner.
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve any invoicing issues.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with Egyptian Law
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise the company on potential impacts.
- Manage tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure that all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and complies with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial and operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, payroll management, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and mentor a team.
- Strong knowledge of electronic invoicing systems and payroll software.
- In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar platforms).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
