- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure timely food and beverage service.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and training when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to hotel brand standards, hygiene regulations, and safety protocols.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in inventory control, stock management, and requisitioning of supplies.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Support the Captain in administrative duties such as scheduling, shift reports, and team briefings.
- Promote upselling and ensure guests are aware of promotions or specials.
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a team.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Fast-paced hotel restaurant environment.
- Standing for extended periods.
- May be exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels.
