- Perform monthly journal capturing and general ledger account reconciliations (pre-payments, accruals, salaries, inter-group loans, fixed assets, etc.)
- Perform month-end accounting activities and reporting.
- Coordinate with other departments (O2C, P2P,Tax etc…) to ensure accurate and timely general ledger balances.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Make accounting records available for review, on a timely basis, by entities, internal auditors, external auditors and other stakeholders, as required.
- Ensure you are always up to date with IFRS, tax laws and country accounting regulations.
- Prepare monthly lease reconciliations.
- Perform petty cash booking and reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/commerce.
- 3-6 years’ experience in accounting field.
- CMA / IFRS qualified or near qualification is a plus.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
