You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integration solutions to ensure data quality and accessibility.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring reliability and accuracy of data delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Document data engineering processes, architectures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or ETL development, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
