- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations regarding mining operations and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and information for license applications if needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mining laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with licensing conditions and reporting requirements.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support to internal teams regarding licensing issues or changes in regulations.
- Facilitate communication with regulatory authorities on behalf of the company.
- Compile and maintain accurate records of all licenses reviewed, applications pending, and compliance activities.
- At least a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
- Years of Experience: 5–15 years of experience in mining licenses management or regulatory compliance within the mining sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess licensing requirements and navigate regulatory processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with regulatory authorities and internal teams (English and Arabic).
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation related to licensing and compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of regulatory management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A detailed understanding of local, state, and federal mining regulations and policies.
- Experience working with mining KSA or neighboring countries.
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessments (EIAs) in the context of mining projects.
- Previous work with mining licenses particularly in reviewing licenses.
