Architect Draughtsman

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop construction documents and ensure design accuracy.
• Modify and update drawings based on project changes, client feedback, and site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to integrate architectural designs.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, quantity estimates, and technical documentation.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and gather data for drawing preparation.
• Support project managers and site engineers with design-related queries and clarifications.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a draughtsman in the construction or oil & gas industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, and materials.
• Familiarity with international and local building codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience working with construction contractors in oil & gas projects.
• Familiarity with project workflows in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environments.
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
