Tabby launched in 2019 and has since raised +$1 billion in equity and debt funding from global and regional investors, and is now valued at $3.3 billion.About the role:We are hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Associate with experience in preparing and filing VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and other tax obligations across the UAE, KSA, and Egypt. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, maintaining accurate tax records, and supporting the finance team with tax-related tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance & Filing

Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns for UAE, KSA, and Egypt in compliance with local tax laws and timelines.
Assist in the preparation and submission of Withholding Tax (WHT) filings and ensure proper documentation.
Ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and submitted within specified deadlines to avoid penalties.

Tax Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain well-organized records of all tax filings, supporting documents, and calculations.
Prepare detailed working files to support VAT, WHT, and other tax filings.
Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with audit requirements and local tax authority regulations.
Keep records up to date and readily available for internal or external audits.

Tax Advisory & Process Improvement

Monitor tax regulatory changes across the UAE, KSA, and Egypt and support the finance team in implementing necessary updates.
Provide guidance to internal teams on VAT treatment for business transactions and contractual obligations
Identify opportunities for improving tax preparation and filing processes.
Assist in developing best practices to enhance tax compliance and documentation efficiency.

Audit Support & Reconciliation

Assist in gathering and preparing tax-related data for internal audits, external audits, or tax authority audits.
Support the finance team in reconciling tax payments with filed returns to ensure accuracy.
Address inquiries from auditors or tax authorities promptly and efficiently.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance
Strong knowledge of tax regulations in the UAE, KSA, and Egypt.
Familiarity with tax portals like ZATCA, GAZT, FTA, and the Egyptian Tax Authority.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite or Wafeq.
Excel skills for tax calculations and reporting.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external teams
