We are looking for a Policies & Procedure Governance Senior Engineer to play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and aligning Information Security (IS) policies, procedures, and standards with both CBE regulatory guidelines and international standards such as ISO 27001.This role serves as a key contributor in ensuring that our cybersecurity governance framework remains compliant, up-to-date, and effective in managing risk and supporting audit readiness.Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and update Information Security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) regulations and ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Risk, and Audit to align policies with business and regulatory needs.
  • Maintain a central repository of IS governance documentation and version control.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Conduct regular gap assessments to ensure policy frameworks meet current and emerging threats.
  • Provide guidance and training on IS policy updates and ensure awareness across departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 47 years of experience in Information Security governance, policy development, or compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of CBE cybersecurity regulations and ISO/IEC 27001 framework.
  • Experience in drafting or managing policy documentation in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Preferred certifications: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISA, or CISSP (nice to have).
