· Manage and develop a pool of Document Controllers (including Supervisors Document Controllers, Senior Document Controllers & Document Controllers) in the projects for the effective implementation of project Document/ Drawing Control procedure.· Evaluate the current Document Control work processes, and suggest process improvements/ development of new processes as required, in coordination with the Project Manager and Functional Department Head.· Conduct training as required and provide coaching for document controllers and project staff, to ensure that the document control processes are fully understood within the project.· Lead the resolution of all document control problems and issues.· Manage a high volume of documents/ drawings effectively and ensure the smooth running of document control activities in the cost center/ project.· Ensure that the required number of Document Controllers are available in the cost center/ project.· Effectively monitor the implementation of Document/ Drawing Control procedure on a regular basis.· Ensure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are distributed to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.· Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution in a Document/ Drawing register & the Electronic Document Management System, as applicable.· Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.· Participate in establishing document numbering system for the new project early stage.Qualifications· A Bachelor’s Degree· Computer Literate· Communication skills· Knowledge of various Engineering disciplines like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.· Related Field Experience: 3 to 5 years
